GSN 2011 Refresh Branding
GSN approached Colourmovie to strategize and design the network's 2011 refresh. Working closely with GSN, we developed Brand Guidelines, and a series of Network ID's, Menus, On-Air Promos, Talent ID's and a Winners Toolkit that integrates their large and growing web audience.

From the beginning, our approach was to keep it simple. Driven by the concept that "The World Needs More Winners," our goal was to design and direct an image based campaign that celebrates the everyday wins of ordinary people. Integral to our approach was the balance of graphic elements with photography in order to ensure an inventive, yet authentic and relatable experience for the audience.

We shot a series of image based spots that served as our main component to the graphic language. It gave our approach a human feel and added warmth. A boy dreams of being a super hero. A housewife wins the US Open… in her living room. A woman wins big at Bingo… From the lively music composed in-house, to the clean and simple typography, to the clever and playful animation, we show that winners are people like us. We all know what it is like to accomplish something, no matter how big or small, and the GSN 2011 refresh is a tribute to that winning feeling.
